ABOUT EUGENE “GINO ROCK” BRANTLEY
Eugene “Gino Rock” Brantley is a candidate for Richmond County Sheriff, currently serving as a Sergeant with the Marshal’s Office. With over 20 years of law enforcement experience, Gino is deeply committed to treating all individuals with respect and dignity.
He began his career as a deputy in 2000 with the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office, where he spent 16 years. Eleven of those years, Gino served on various special operations teams, including the Housing Unit and the Rapid Response Riot Team. His community-focused approach, playing basketball and engaging with kids, fostered strong bonds within the community, making relocation efforts smoother when necessary. In 2017, he joined the Marshal’s Office, earning a promotion to Sergeant and handling evictions. Gino’s platform revolves around accessibility, approachability, and active engagement as Sheriff to ensure justice and restoration for all.
